I Nice Size Coffee Maker for One5
I got the Mr. Coffee CGX5 coffee maker as a gift for a friend and it has performed flawlessly. My friend downsized to a small condo with a smaller kitchen and needed a coffee maker that didn't take up a lot of counter space. The CGX5 has a very small footprint and it makes a pretty good cup of coffee. The unit has a removable filter basket which is convenient for emptying the grounds without spilling. We both like the water level sight "glass" (which is plastic) is useful for filling the coffee maker from a water bottle. The clock is also a great feature as the kitchen doesn't have one. The coffee maker features an automatic shutoff after one hour so accidently leaving the pot on doesn't mean a burnt pot or worse. The output for a full pot about fills two coffee mugs.

The only complains are that you have to pour slowly so the carafe doesn't spill and the one hour shut off feature sometimes doesn't leave enough time to finish the pot. You can hit the start button again and it will warm up the carafe.

Overall, this is a great little unit for the apartment, office or dorm. The small size means making a second pot isn't so much of a chore on those days when one pot isn't going to cut it. I recommend the Mr. Coffee CGX5 to people who like fresh coffee with a minimum of fuss, either at home or at work.
